Location just next door to puerto viejo downtown, shops and restaurants and both beach. Good and excellent food for breakfast.

The hotel is set in a really beautiful area, adjacent to the rainforest, shops, and restaurants. The triple room we stayed in was beautiful, and we had a balcony. We also had climate control, a personal safe, and a couch bed in our room.

I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Bugabutik! The location was perfect - close enough to town for convenience, but far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. The beautiful jungle surroundings added to the peaceful atmosphere. The pool was warm and inviting, and the included breakfast was a nice touch. The owner, Andrea, was incredibly helpful and gave great recommendations. I felt like I was living in a jungle oasis, surrounded by the sounds of nature. I highly recommend Hotel Bugabutik for a memorable and relaxing stay.

Secondly, the attentive and friendly staff made my stay extra special. They took great care of us and really went above and beyond. Lastly, I was impressed with the attention to detail and the basic amenities provided, including the rooms with a balcony. It was a perfect retreat for a relaxing getaway.

The jungle view was amazing, we could hear all the animals in the morning and the pool area was a nice touch. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

The place needs to be updated, the bungalows were damp and dingy. The shower had no pressure and wires hanging from it.
